I was telling someone just this week how much I like riding Brasted Chart as there is virtually no passing traffic or junctions. Didn't think "so perfect for ambushes".

5.45am this morning two lads on a scooter tried to nick someone's Venge on Priory Lane. They passed him then doubled back to try and push him off.

Ahh, I think I've been going Tues + Thurs regularly so this probably is first Friday for a long time.

Shire Lane had quite the burst water main over the weekend. Was closed totally Saturday but re-opened now I think.

Yup; saw Tom Pidcock is riding full on Ridley brand frames this week having been on "Paul Milnes" bikes till now
Ridley Oval track frames got rebadged by loads of t'Northern t'bike shops too.

Some of Merlin's own brand bikes were Ridley made; loads of 4za branded accessories the giveaway.
Chinese generic ANT+ dongle from Ebay are about $10 posted works fine.
I'd wait a bit before doing first test as you can get technically better at riding a turbo without anything physiologically changing.
Sainsbury's have some big 18 inch circulators in store for £30 odd too
