I know. I'm really gutted. My season is pretty much over.

I've got inflammatory arthritis in my foot and it's been flaring up over the last month. Not been able to train for the last 3-4 weeks, barely been able to walk for most of it. Even if I could start training again today I'd not be fit until DC6, and maybe not even then.
Right now I'm more worried about being able ride a bike at all.

Dan, that's pretty grim. Id try to get into the Rheumatology Clinic at GSTT. It's been really helpful for me.

I am happy to whip/judge, can also do some photos on my adult camera. I've benefitted from riding this the past 3 years without putting any real effort in, including on the track. In light of Dan's Henry VIII impression and my lack of racing it makes more sense that I help out.

I'm afraid it's looking very likely that I'm going to need to work at somepoint on Saturday, most likley in the afternoon.

If you want to swap roles, please feel free.

Please can the sign on helpers be there by 12.30 so we are set up and ready to go for 1pm start. Everyone else please get there as close to 1pm as possible so we can help set up and Dave can run through any last minute instructions for the marshals etc.

Please can you make sure you are wearing a Grupetto T-shirt and cap so you can easily be identified in a crowd. If you don't have a cap we have some for sale and I can bring them with me on the day. If you haven't got a t-shirt can you shout as I'm sure someone on here will have a spare.

Lastly, please invite friends and family to come down an watch a bit of the racing, it would be nice to get a good crowd and then again at Canopy afterwards. We are going to be playing some of Wayne's bright times tunes at Canopy so it should be a good finish to the day.
