Cross training Thursday 1st December

Back to it this week. Given the upcoming Regionals, and because I can still improve it, I was going to do some slow cornering practise this week, with the usual warm up training races in between.

Silly season has started. It's our first Xmas party, one I would normally swerve, but we are gonna take advantage of the hospitality.

I was going to say don't get too carried away otherwise it'll affect your racing. But no need.

I bet 'spoons realise that an eternal 'closing down sale' of what sounds like a decent pub is actually a good marketing ploy, and especially so over the Christmas period.

Indirectly, yes. The freehold is owned by Spoons, but the current lease is held by the existing landlord, who presumably pays Spoons his lease money each month.

Yes, it's emotionally challenging. Given that 'spoons contributed £96k to 'Leave' according to the Electoral Commission paying them money poses an ethical dilemma.
