Proper singletrack sections, avoiding the trees and the roots took a lot of concentration. During the warm up I tried to follow Jon Dennis through one section and ended up parking the bike between two trees.
Not really. One short descent through trees, but most of the elevation each lap was lost on a dead straight downhill. The corner at the bottom was relatively open too, so you didn't need to scrub off too much speed.
