Last days of summer '18 rides

I've been chatting to Graham, Dommy and Denny about some slightly longer rides which are not necessarily club runs but could take place on Sundays.

Is there appetite for another London - Brighton - London, we have an absolutely epic route and providing the weather is nice this is one brilliant day out.

Ride to Whitstable, I'm quite keen to do this run which Denny and Pete did few weeks ago.

If we stick these in say September early October and give people enough notice would people come along?

Also, I haven't done Ride of the Falling Leaves for a while which is always a highlight.

Who is up for it?

I'm up for Ride of the Falling Leaves. If I book it in now I should be good.

Definitely keen, September is a bit of a write off for me with moving and holidays but hopefully sometime in October should suit.

I would love to but it'll be difficult as I'll be "racing". Hopefully.

I remember doing an overnight to Whitstable with jonny and tim from TNRC (and martin!). It was great, lanes, quiet, and then I think we deliberately overshot Whitstable to ride in from the south (or whatever direction it was).

ROTFL is lovely too.

If you have the numbers and the motivation for it and the bike (gravel/gnar/gnoad/cross) the ride to Canterbury on the Pilgrims is ace.

I’m down for something in October

First and last weekends of September and all October works for me at the moment with some notice so I can get them in the calendar.

Happy to take them as overnight trips even at a nice abode (though I appreciate that’s a mega ask as other people have more commitments).
