I'm a big fan of GVA, amazing recovery yesterday to come back and win. He is on amazing form.
He fell short so many times last year must be satisfying to be on top form so early in season. Will be interesting to see what he is targeting for rest of year.
Yep but the tactic backfired, if he had worked a bit with them instead of making pissing GVA off they wouldn't have both attached him in the run in and he then may have had a bit more in the legs at the end. He should have glass cranked and not made it so obvious that he wouldn't work.
I think he was stuck between a rock and hard place.
GVA was the strongest rider and I don't think Stybar would have won whatever he tried.
