  • Who's going to win what?

  • Excellent Paris Roubaix yesterday.

I'm a big fan of GVA, amazing recovery yesterday to come back and win. He is on amazing form.

He fell short so many times last year must be satisfying to be on top form so early in season. Will be interesting to see what he is targeting for rest of year.

  • I'm pleased too. I had a crafty beat on GVA to win. Collected the winnings last night. :-)

  • I was gutted, my prediction on Saturday night that Stybar would win it failed right at the last.

  • He was taking the mick in last 5km.

    Got served by GVA anyway...

  • What about Tom Pidcock though? That kid has the potential to be an absolutely massive star. Legend already at just 17 years old.

  • Legitimate tactic, despite what some might say.

  • He's a racer. Let's hope he is well looked after developmentally.

  • Agreed. Only an idiot would have done any work in that group with Boonen 35s back.

Bit bored of fans expecting professionals who get paid to win to be anything other than calculating.

  • Lol, Boonen had no chance of bridging that gap.

  • Yep but the tactic backfired, if he had worked a bit with them instead of making pissing GVA off they wouldn't have both attached him in the run in and he then may have had a bit more in the legs at the end. He should have glass cranked and not made it so obvious that he wouldn't work.

  • I think he was stuck between a rock and hard place.

GVA was the strongest rider and I don't think Stybar would have won whatever he tried.
