What's the budget Matt?
I have a 58cm Ridley which I was planning on splitting and selling parts.
-

To buy and get it road-ready I was optimistically aiming for around 450-500.

You may struggle with that budget or you could get lucky on eBay.
I bought my Ridley cross bike for £440 but had to spend another £250 to get it road worthy.

The club has a trek Madone which I can give you a long lend of? I'll need to check the size if you want a loan.

Pretty sure that's a 56 Ricky.

If you were much shorter, you could have (for free) my Ridley. It's not a looker. And it's aluminium. It's a 52 though....
If anyone knows anyone short who wants it as a gateway bike that offer stands.

Ved - Yeah I'll see what I can find out there is the realms of eBay, thanks though.
Ricky - I should be able to keep going on my Genesis, thanks for the offer though- much appreciated.
Demeaux - thank you for the offer, but yeah I'd need to shrink a bit to fit that frame! -

You should be able to pick up a Trek Alpha alu frame with 105 no problems.

I've got a white 55cm canyon al with 10spd sram rival (red brakes and a force rear mech) sitting in the cupboard, waiting to be sold. It was my daily commuter and winter rig for a few years so its well used and comes with a splattering of genuine Mallorcan tarmac.
Wheels are hope hubs laced to 32h hplus son archetypes. It probably needs a new rear wheel or the hub serviced as the freewheel is a little draggy.
Comes without saddle or pedals.
£250 to a club member.

Anyone interested in a pair of Royce hubs on A23 with Sapim CX. Campag but fits 11spd that is shimano compatible.
Not sure about the price? If no one is interested what price should I put on eBay for?

That Mallorcan tarmac....
Sigh. -

There's a nearly new Cervelo R3 with Ultegra 6800 on the RCC forum for £800.
Proper bargain.
-

That is a bargain. Someone should invest.

• #21
Blimey. Size?
-
• #22
Yeah. That was a looooong day.

Hey guys,
My initial thought was to get my Lapierre shipped over from Belfast for the longer rides and keeping my old Genesis for commuting. However I think I'm going to keep that at home to allow me to ride whenever I venture back to the homeland.
So I'm now on the lookout for something a bit nicer for the weekends. I was wondering if anyone in the club is selling a second hand bike? The rough spec I'm looking for would be something like a 56-58cm aluminium frame, carbon fork, tiagra/105 groupset. But I'm open to any options.
Cheers,
Matt
