I'd like to gauge how many people will actually show face for it first, before committing to running a joint event. We've held up our end from an admin POV (admirably) to date, but it looks a bit ridiculous when there are more people there on clipboard and butty duty than are actually riding the thing.

I think we need a show of hands. There are plenty of capable climbers in this club, and there are fat people like me who can do it for a laugh, so let's be having you.

Could always leave the organising to them this year? And I couldn't exactly call it a competition, more a bit of fun.

I will ride again, as long as it isn't the weekend of 23/24 Sept.
