Who's up for a run to Peaslake?

I've made a shortened route because I'm slow and a bit injured still. Don't think I can handle a longer one with Box and Leith etc right now:

No POC helmets allowed on Dan's ride :-p

Poc wearers are allowed, but you have to wear a spotted helmet cover to make you look like Mushroom from Mariokart.

The language I would use if this was in clubhouse...

I still can't get over the fact that they (sometimes) sell zig-zag shape cheese straws at Box Hill

The sprint point is at Cedars Nursery on Horsley Road.

And the mountains are of course Col de Blanc-bas and Cols de Bendy Coombe.

Disappointed to say can't ride this Sunday due to doctors orders having just had a cortisone injection .

So I'm a very likely, maybe! Love to join but a little hesitant due to BBQ on Strdy where I have every intention of leaving early and only having a few beers but... I say that a lot and have zero willpower so I will make my very best efforts to behave and come along but not 100% promising!

Long standing issue with hip , topping up the pain killer as been quite painful recently .

Commiserations on your injury, but also enjoy the steroids - they are fun. I was in an awesome mood for the week that I was on them.

I've got a Christening to attend and need to be back home by 11 so heading out super early probably to Boxhill.

I'm afraid I'm not going to make this - my foot has been playing up for the last couple of days. I'm really sorry - I was looking forward to it.

I'm away for 8 days, but I have a newbie in the wings for 2 weeks time!

Anyone else or is it just me?
