Denny and Jay texted me to say they were keen but needed to check with other halves...

It MIGHT be possible for me to borrow a 7 seater Discovery off my rentals which would take us plus bikes with my 4 bike tow rack and Veds bomber if it takes 2 bikes?

6 is too much for the Cosyhuouse accom with the lovely Rita though... she wants €100 euros to use the hot tub so I am going off her a bit.

Shall we look for a place that can take 6 in Oudenaarde on air bnb? I have paid a deposit but think I can get it back...

Oudenaarde might even be a better shout so we can crack on with the BOOZIN

The Discovery is out as apparently does not have a towbar plus I get the feeling they dont really want me to borrow it anyway...

I think I’ll be able to get a car. The only thing is it’s an unreliable Seat Ibiza with no bike carrying facilities but it could carry 2 (driver +1) people and two bikes with the seats down.

Unfortunately I'm a non-driver.

I will have a look for a place for all of us - if I cannot find anywhere better than cosy house we can work out who is happy to stay in a separate place...

Would be great to pop into Atelier Jaegher, Bruggestraat 120, 8755 Ruiselede. I assume it is all nearish, all the Belgium stuff?

I have asked Rita if she can accomodate us all at cosy house. I think thats the simplest solution and we could do:

2 people in the twin
1 in the double
2 in the big room in the main house (1 in a double bed and one on a camp bed)
1 on a camp bed in the lounge area of the garage block or in a tent in the garden

I need to fix the price and hear if thats ok but total accom cost would be in region of say €520 euros for two nights inc hot tub use and brekkie - so about £75 per person

We also need to finalise if we are leaving London Friday after work for two nights (coming home Sunday PM) OR leaving early on Sat morning for two nights coming back Monday??

As we now have two cars we have flexibility - I just need to tell rita the days we want the accom

I have no preference but need a decent bed as I have sleep problems and am 6ft4. Happy to pay a little more towards a proper bed. Other than that am all gravy. Would rather 2 hard days cycling.

I say leave Friday eve come back Monday. Subject to costs.

Ditto to Ved - happy to doing the Friday departure if it's not that much more expensive.

I actually think the second place is a better shout.. much bigger communal area etc and enough actual beds... I have contacted her.. I will make a decision when I hear back from both. She is a superhost and the place looks great..
