Hey guys, I've picked up an old Giant Bowery as a bit of a project, and a initial step into the hipster single speed world. It was a bit of a wreck and I am stripping it back to the frame, fork and bars to then begin building back up. It will mostly be used for commuting and getting around. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on:
A good single speed wheel set? I'm thinking these: https://www.dolan-bikes.com/miche-x-presÂs-road-track-bike-wheels.html
A solid single speed chainset? Thinking of this: https://www.cyclesurgery.com/p/miche-priÂmato-advance-track-chainset-48-49-50t-R6Â414042.html?colour=180
Bartape preferences? Solid, simple brakes & levers?
Any other tips, tricks or recommendations on this would be ace and welcomed. Cheers guys!

Won't be able to make this date, back in God's country with the family for Christmas. It's been far too long since I was out... on the topic of highlights- the top one for this year has to be the trip to Flanders. Unbelievable weather, beers, climbs and pad. Enjoy the ride guys and I hope to be out sooner rather than later :D

My work schedule has been slightly different than planned and I am in Edinburgh until Friday this week. I am scheduled to be back in London City around 745 and will come straight from the airport. But I think I will likely miss the food, so leave me out of the sausages and fire on as planned. I will be sticking to the water as we are starting the drive to Cornwall on Friday night! Sorry for all the confusion - see you guys Friday :)
