Checked both gas burners this morning. Happy to report both working perfectly first time (not sure what the problem was last year) and have charged the walkie-talkies. Just need to get a collapsing chair, blanket to cover my knees, thermos flask (tartan design) and a 70s style quilted anorak, preferably with blue red and white stripes on the arm to make it look more 'racey'

or I could just bring shit loads of sloe gin?

I've got a cold :( no race for me. Will try to make it for the ride out or maybe get train out or something. Depends how I feel later.

Great morning, cheers all! Think my time was slower than my best time up there, Strava cannot tell me as my Garmin had a fanny fit half way up.

I have sent the results spreadsheet to Ricky. He will post it up in a bit.

The winning time was 02:57 (which is 22 seconds faster than last year), and apparently the rider wasn't quite on form, suffering a little from a slight bout of asthma.

Drug test him.

A massive thank you to everyone for organising, for giving my two special people a lift, for engaging with them and making them feel great.

Miriam wants to race next year.
