I don't know why but I still look out for a GT LTS DH, my own 16yr old dream. I think if I had an intense M1 I would an absolute melt down with joy. Fucking cool ugly bike.
Swinley and peaslake have loads of demo days that might be worth a look?
I hired a whyte 901 and it's got really great geo nice and long front end with quite a short rear. Smooth bike.
