  • Really nicely Will I have always rated Trek Alpha 200 alu tubing.

With the wide tyres and wide wheels is pretty plush.

The discs are a disaster though, really really badly set up…(Evans Cycles Brentford)

Some of the cable runs are well dodgy too.

  • I have fancy secure bike parking in my new Mayfair digs…

  • I hate disc brake road bikes. Anyone want a cheap Kinesis? As new.

  • very nice

  • Thanks Sam.

  • Tempted but I don't think it's quite what I'm looking for... But I recall that Denny was contemplating a 4S (or perhaps had already ordered one).

  • Actually, if the 4S Disc does end up working out, I will have a 4S for sellz.
I probably should sell my old DA cranks and those 404s and the carbon chainrings and the Rotor crankset and the S-Works crankset and the old Condor and...

  • You need a spreadsheet.

  • Are you having second thoughts about discs? I'm intending to get a commuter / light tourer with discs at some point.

  • I need a garage sale.

  • @Demeaux how about one of those Topeak fuel tank things on the top tube behind stem? Has a port for the cable to run out of.

  • Or one of these Damo ?

    Restrap

  • I can stuff all my kit in there. Apart from shirts. Would fit battery kit.

Love cycling without a bag on back.

  • It's all a bit big. I might see if I can find someone to tidy up the cables by cutting and resoldering. The battery pack would fit in one of those continental saddle bags just about. Its the massive cable that's the real bother.

Alternatively, My mate is doing stuff as haul goods, I might ask him for a one off....

  • Rotor cranks - what axle and arm length?

    What size 4s too?

  • looks a bit wank, no?

  • My Tubus pannier-for-life has transformed my life

  • Looks great. Aero too.

  • £220 for Rotor 3D+ 155mm cranks (not a typo, I bought them thinking they were 165mm). Still tempted to try them.

    57cm 4S

  • Ah - bummer 165 is what I wanted :'(

  • No good - need the 24 axle to work with the 110bcd spider. 130bcd won't convert to 144bcd properly.

  • Cinelli arrived. Looking battered.
