Thanks Dan...noted.

Funnily enough I want to replace Ultegra with the Red. Whilst Ultegra is awesome, it is also grey and I want the juxtopsition of black against Ti.

Juxtaposition.
You tart.

I think he means contrast.
-
• #82
Ha! No, I meant the long word, but massive spelling fail.
-
• #83
I think Damian is telling you that's not what that means

Thanks Sam

What differences are you highlighting and drawing attention to? I suppose moving from ultrgra to red suggests bathos.
-
• #88
I had to look bathos up.
-
• #89
I have a present for you. Might not give now. How is that for bathos?!

Is it a fall from on high?

Apparently, the planetx xla frame is available at 250. This is in my price bracket, it's the alloy frame rather than carbon, I've read concerns about the shelf that collects mud.
Is this a case of too cheap to be any good or bang it now?
-
• #92
It's £199.99 at the moment. For that price I reckon it's a steal.
All frames collect mud somewhere, the shelf there isn't usually going to cause any major problems, and it's easy to clear if needed. The only possible drawback is it's QR rather than thru axle, but that's nitpicking.

£199? I think that's just frame.
250 is frame plus fork (alloy steerer) -
• #94
Shimano is overrated
-
• #95
What kind of company sells frames separately from forks? Fuck 'em.
-
• #96
Caadx for sells.
-
• #97
Just sold mine on eBay
-
• #98
For how much?
I paid £250 for f+f (and other bits) 2 years ago.

I need to clean it then.
Don't want to worry you but I have had 2 SRAM shifters have their shift lever shear off for no apparent reason - from what I could see from taking it apart the metal thingy that attaches them is actually made of cheese.
