The Xmas Riding Thread

Put it up here if you're doing a Xmassy ride and want some company.

I'd like to do something on the 28th of around 80km?

Unfortunately I'm going to be in Wales and then Norfolk from the 23rd-2nd. I will be doing a fair few miles, but all of them on my own or with EB. Already planned some lovely routes.

I am working on every day that isn't a bank holiday.

I believe the phrase is fuck my life.

I'm going to try my best to do festive 500. Not in one ride obviously.

probably try 4 x 125km

Yeah, that's my aim. Will be tough in Wales. Plus I'm going to lose a few days traveling and stuff.

I'm all about the Festering 500.

Would love to come over for an xmas ride, but have no holiday left so working all the non bank holiday days like Sam! 😒

I'm the only person in my department that will be in though, so at least I can get away with using the facilities for bike painting!

I've only got the 28th off as well, I'm trying to see if I can race on 27th (pushing it) but I might be able to just get out early doors.
New Year's madison is the one for me.

Not sure Mayfair and back will hit festive 500.

Where do you plan to ride to in your limited time frame Damo?

Out and back. I reckon I could easily get to near your ends.

Hopefully I can do something on the evening of the 29th. Might just do a steady road ride though.
