Sunday club run - Fairoaks airport loop

Now that the cold weather is here, it's time to break out the winter routes!

Fairoaks airport loop - about 65km loop from Richmond Park. I'll post up the gpx route when I find it. Social/winter pace.

There is a cafe at the airport if needed. Would need to check if open on Sunday.

This could be an interesting detour, but not sure if cycle friendly. Have asked on FB.

Tbh — with the weather like it is (and the route being reasonably short) I think coffee etc at the end of the ride would be best. Dynamo OK?

@Dan I think you may be right - I just remembered having a very nice bacon butty last time I went there (not on bike though).

Agreed, this loop is best done and gotten out of the way and then sit down for a bite.

I remember freezing over once at that shit cafe by garden centre.

For anyone in two minds , an easy flat route with good coffee at the end . An opportunity to draft behind 2 0f grupettos finest riders - what's not to like about it ?

I'm in, is it possible too keep the club run a little shorter. Ideally is should be no more than 70kms and 50 miles is coming in a nearer 80kms, I know its not much and its a flat ride but its the time really.
