Aggregate 100

I've just entered the Aggregate 100 gravel 'race' in Yorkshire in August.
Getting a van and going up for the weekend with a few Bristol folk.... looks like a fun event. Thought I'd post on here to see if any of you lot want to come along?

The website is a bit shit, but I spoke to somebody who did the first one last year, and he said it was a right laugh. I think the 'race' bit is to be taken lightly... it seems to be a Rapha Prestige type thing but on woodland trails and bridalways in the dales. A uk Grinduro copy I guess.

HQ is at a pub with a campsite, but I'm looking at getting an air bnb house somewhere near. Race is on the Saturday, then they are putting on a bit of a party at the pub. There is a dog show on the Sunday too, but I have no idea what that has to do with anything to be honest!

Think we are gonna head up on the Friday morning and do some riding on the Friday afternoon too, and maybe Sunday morning before coming home.

The entry system is a bit crap. You can register a team to be eligible for comedy team prizes I think.

Their IG account seems to be the best way of getting info on what it's all about.

I'd love to come but we'll be just finishing a 1,400km audax

I want to be a human powered rally car.

I really wanted to do this, but no pass.

Also found out tonight this is date of Bristol GP which I will need to be at.

Looking to coincide this with a trip to see friends in Harrogate. Will keep you posted @Bobbiego
