Helluva headwind on the way back in. I was cooked by Hampton Ct but it didn't seem to bother Jay & Ant. Pete pulled me back in the last few kms (thanks!). Great to ride with you guys, thanks for having me along. Just polished off a roast beef dinner & a nice Malbec - heaven!

Good Grupetto recovery programme. Don't worry about @jaygee he's done that to me loads of times!

Will we see you out again over the summer months? You're most welcome and there are quite a few Dad friendly rides with early starts and finishes.

Good ride, good bants. Changed plans and came back a more pleasant route than the planned Tour de Slough.

Sausage sandwich was achieved on return home as was second cake. Beef Bourguignon is in the oven. Those foxes better watch out.

@Ricky yep deffo up for some more rides if I can get a pass from family committments.

Any ideas on final distance? I fear my century ride in 2 weeks is going to hurt...

I reckon 106km for those that started and finished at Roehampton gate.

Yeah that's about right I think. I did 90km and it's about 20km round trip to start in RP
