Sadly I underestimated the distance so I have to bail for this week. Don’t have the fitness or the time for 150kms.

Let me just sense check this. I ride to Richmond (21km), we then ride to Windsor (34km), do the loop (71km), ride back to Richmond (34km) and I nip home (21km).

Please tell me a train is involved somewhere?

It's only 100 miles Nath.

What did you do last time we did this ride? You met us in Eton right? Do same now?

For me Windsor is not an enjoyable ride.

Totally agree on both points. It’s beautiful out there and if I had time and the fitness I’d be up for it.
As it is, the Windsor ride isn’t a great route, and if we met at RP and split to go to Box (for example) then we’d be riding together for about 20 mins.

It’s usually the other way round - the club run a more gentle distance and anyone doing more miles would go and do their own thing (often because of needing an earlier start time).

You can’t please everyone, fortunately this weekend there are enough riders to have a decent turnout for more than one ride.

What tea stops are on the Chiltern's ride?
