Stripes the wrong way around

Bontrager are making some cracking stuff and that light is probably great.
I have finally settled on Exposure Diablo with Red Eye on the rear. Somewhat overkill for the commute, but I have some sketchy roads on the commute and the Diablo gets me seen. The Red Eye is great, none of the blinding lances of light that bike lights do now, just a huge expanse of red.

But when you lift your arms to celebrate?

I'm glad you got the joke.

I have the Exposure Diablo MK5, is awesome, would like a slightly longer run time but I bet the new ones have that.
I have the flare on the back, is fine, but am on my third and sometimes they don't screw together right and the light turns off.

I use a Flare, and the switching off issue has improved since they stopped anodising the inside of the body. I find that cleaning the contacts on the light and battery also helps the issue.

I took the spring out and used a screwdriver to stretch it. Made the battery contact much better.

Can the Exposure Diablo be charged on the go?
-
• #362
I've got a traceR and a xeccon thing i bought because I lost the traceR bracket.
This is not helpful.

Yes. Also it can charge other devices, using one of these:

Spent two hours last night scrubbing and picking old sealant off the beads of my mud tyres so I can get them to seat properly. The joys of tubeless.
-
• #367
Did you break for a nap in the middle?
-
• #368
Almost, had to put a 4 year old to bed half way through, after she'd fallen asleep on the sofa watching 'Strictly'.
-
• #369
I am gonna regret this, but the sealant dried out with the tyres on. How do you avoid that?
-
• #370
You need to either top the sealant up from time to time or, if you’re storing the bike for a few months, remove the sealant completely.

• #371
So I repeat....the joys of tubeless

Come and mount mine and you can have more practice.....

Anyone on here got one of those nice Isen bikes? I see they are doing their second batch. Geo only up to 59 tho. Looks like a lovely posh Audax option.

Super expensive as a full build, they do look nice tho.

I have to pay the balance on frameset 024 today and it will be going into the loft for the foreseeable until I have some time to think about the build.
It doesn't have to be expensive. There are cheap options out there.
But, Trek.
