Cross season 2018/19

Yeah, should be Ok thanks. My mate ended up entering without realising the forecast that was, err, forecasted. I registered for the league, and if the weather ends up not being too bad I will EOL and we will both race.

Does mean not being gridded, but doesn't really bother me.

It was just drizzle until 8:15 but has now been raining pretty hard since. Wind starting to pick up now too.

Rather ironically it stopped raining here at midday. Would have still got soaked standing around beforehand etc.

I will be hoping to attend Herne Hill in a fortnight.

I’ve been in California all week so wasn’t really fair on Andrea to off for four hours to race. My next race is probably Herne Hill.

I went out last night, stayed out while my sister and brother in law looked after both kids.
Came home. Within 10 minutes Miriam had screamed at both of us and tried to punch me in the face. I wish I'd fucked off to Leeds castle.

But it all got ironed out in the end, and now I don't have a bike to clean....

Get the regionals on Dec 2nd in the diary now, it’s a pre-event test of the Nationals course.

Everything is alright, it's just that from this term Olivia's swimming lessons on a Sunday are now 30 minutes later, which although doesn't sound like much, it means I'm really pushed for time to make it to racing. Usually catch the train to Herne Hill, but with George's carer unable to look after him this Sunday the first train I can catch is too late. And driving up would be a push (i.e. I'd get there for about 11:40 if there are no traffic issues) even if I could park at the velodrome itself, which is pretty much never going to happen.

I'm guessing you need a BC licence to ride the regionals?

Go for a cross ride with the Kent Damo. Looks like he had a good one last weekend.
