  • 28c tubular

  • Wide as you can fit
Supple. (I used Vittoria Pave previously but will probably stick with my Corsa this time
    Low PSIs

  • Zipp 808 / Veloflex / 125 psi

  • Disc with discs should do it. Arm rests for extra comfort.

  • Dommy wins the 'most useful' advice award, managing to actually answer ALL my questions. I will be buying this man a strong ale when we reach France.

Does anyone know the difference between Corsa, Corsa Speed and Corsa Control? And what is the advantage of Pave vs Corsa? I'm tempted to go Corsa as I'll be able to use them anyway. Whereas Pave feel like a one-off use type purchase?

  • Actually, after a bit of research, the Corsa Control look a good bet. They have the most grip, protection and suppleness of the three options. They are not as fast, but at least should offer more comfort and will offer a better ride if it's wet. They come in 25mm or 28mm as a clincher. So 28mm it is.

  • Paves are perfect for British riding, grippy and hard wearing but supple too. The new Controls are meant to be even better, haven’t used them yet myself but have been seriously impressed with Vittorias new cx tyres which use the same technology.

  • Am running 25mm Paves.

Possibly might spring for 28mm Corsa Control. Or NOS 27mm paves

  • I'm going for 26mm Specialized Turbo Cotton

  • One shot at victory.

  • Paves are no longer :(

Those Corsa control look like they might be just as good though

  • I have a stockpile.

  • I also have OG pave set, but thinking corsas should be ok, guess it depends on weather.

  • Not long to go now fellas

    😉

  • I know what we're all thinking - Will the De Rosa make it??

  • depends if you've paid the VAT or not

  • Still not had the opportunity to. UK customs have had it since the 18th May.

  • Dear All,

I have been informed that the original outward crossing has been changed. They wanted to put us on the 16:40hrs crossing which would mean that we arrive in Calais at 19:10hrs and arriving at our hotel in Saint Quentin approx 21.00hrs, the restaurant will be closed so we would miss our evening meal. However I have managed to change the sailing to the 13:55hrs one hour earlier than the original booked sailing. So please be at your collection point 1 hour earlier. Please find attached your revised itinerary.

Can you please confirm that you have received this e-mail by e-mail or text to 0777 16 62 123.

    Many thanks

    Jonathan
